Request for quota N2_CPUs is not approved

My SAP deployments were limited by the CPU quota (Quota ‘N2_CPUS’ exceeded. Available: 8, Requested: 44)
Therefore, in Compute Engine on GCP I requested increases for quota: N2_CPUS | region=asia-east1 | asia-east1 from 8 to 44 CPUs as required by SAP S/4HANA package.

WHAT I TRIED:

  1. After rejection I contacted sales, got mail where was asked to pay $10 USD. Made required payment and still week later no success with quota increase. No replies from sales so far.
  2. Different region: Change N2 CPUs – europe-west4 from 8 to 44 *Result-Rejected

Question:

Why global CPUS_ALL_REGIONS are increased to 44 which I didn’t request? (BTW, by filtering quotas limit by 44 nothing shows up.)

Any suggestion on what else I can try is highly appreciated.

If you find actual limits are greater than expected, this is normal if previous requests were approved with higher limits. Otherwise, please let us know if approved changes are not reflected in your project.

In cases where we were unable to grant the quota, If this is a new project please wait 48h until you resubmit the request. You might need to wait until your Billing account has additional history or request a different region or resource.
