Maintaining a big webshop with +4 mill. unique product SKU’s. And have a sitemap.xml generated every night. And automanaged by Google Search Console. That have been running for several years, by only about 22% of the items in the sitemap is actually indexed by google, and a lille is added per day (around 1000-1500). How to optimize that, so google actually indexes everything ?
I’m not a Google expert, but with having alle the products in Google Merchant Center help or what to do ?

22% of four million pages in pretty good actually. Not many sites can get a million pages indexed. Google doesn’t index everything from any site I’ve ever worked with.
