Does JBOSS 7.4.12 support OpenJDK 17 [closed]

I have read an post here
https://access.redhat.com/discussions/6335671

it says that JBOSS 7.4.12 supports OpenJDK 17
has anyone tried to use open jsk 1.17 on JBOSS 7.4.12+ successfully?

ps:our company policy is use JBOSS 7.4.12, but we want to use spring boot 3+, also java 17 to create a new project.

There is no such thing as OpenJDK 1.17. Since Java 9, the major version is that number, so where Java 8 was actually version 1.8, Java 9 is really version 9 (not 1.9), and Java 17 is version 17 (not 1.17). In any case, your question is not really suitable for this site. If Red Hat says JBoss 7.4.12 is compatible with Java 17, why do you seek further reassurances from random people on the internet?

  • If you have a specific problem that you suspect is due to some JBOSS 7.4.12 vs OpenJDK 17 interoperability issue, it would be reasonable to ask a question aboout that specific problem. And be sure to include sufficient debug details; e.g. stack traces, relevant code, etc.
