What are the correct names of different DNS server? [closed]

I am trying to understand all the names / terms and process of DNS,

All the ” ” are the terms I think are correct –

Step 1 “stub resolver” which is the software component on your actual pc, that query a “recursive query” for domains,
Step 2 it sends a DNS query to the “recursive resolver” which could be a home router or ISP resolver server (Please let me know if it’s one of those options)
Step 3 then the query an “iterative query”, gets refered to a “root server” ( NOT a name server )
Step 4 then the query an “iterative query”, gets refered to the correct “TLD server” ( NOT a name server )
Step 5 then the query an “iterative query”, gets refered to the correct “authoritative name server” which has the IP for the name you pc requested, and send it back

I would really appreciate if you guys could correct me as much as possible,
I really want to get my head around the correct terms of every single DNS server.

I tried to read from a lot of different sources online,
But every time there are different nuances in the explanations of the terms / names
